Today, as being the International Women's Day, I would to like to share with you an amazing female album, which, through its songs, empowers women.
The perfect one to listen to, this honourable day for us.
Natti Natasha, the second woman on Billboard’s Year-End 2018 Top Latin chart and best known for her collaboration with Ozuna ‘Criminal’ , released her debut album ‘ilumiNATTI’.

The album includes 17 tracks where the Dominican artist talks about the freedom and the independence of women and also shares her feelings about love, in this way she makes her fans feel identified with her. In the record you can find bachata as well as you can find reggae or ballad and also a Spanglish track!
In an interview for Billboard, Natti Natasha told them that she was really happy about the outcome of her album and very satisfied about the fact that she was able to focus on her own material again.
I chose the best songs of the album that based on my own judgement, remind us, the women, how powerful we are:
1. 'Te lo dije,’ ft. Anitta
2. ‘Soy Mía,’ft Kany García
Woman do not need a man to be happy.
3. ’Lamento tu pérdida’
This one is my favourite. It talks about how a man did not value her when she was with him, but now that she’s gone, he has realised what he lost. It follows the quote that we all have heard at some point in our lives “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone.”.
4. ‘Independiente’
Women are independent, a woman can do whatever she decides, and without listening to peoples’ opinions.
5. 'La mejor versión de mí'
This ballad reflects on romantic toxicity.
6. 'Era necesario'
7. 'No voy a llorar'
