THOMAZ, also known as a 'Tomas The Latin Boy' is a reggaeton artist who was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He has worked in collaboration with artists such as Farruko, Maluma or Lenny Tavarez. We talked over his professional career which he started at the age of 16.

The Latin Boy began to love this genre particularly Reggaeton when he was only five years old.

"I grew up in a culture where the clothing, the manner of speaking and the environment were immersed in that type of music. So, I was in love with the music and everything that was related to it.

“I started to professionally work in this industry at my 16s and here I am now! Someone who inspired me to go into this genre was Arcangel, I have always followed his career , but I have to say that Yankee and Wisin had also inspired me to create my own identity," Thomaz said.

Today, we see many artists in the genre doing different things. But everyone has their favourite. Thomaz chose Ozuna.

“ I’d say Ozuna is one of my favourite artists in the industry right now, he is still doing what I love that is REGGAETON, as these days there’s a lot of areas inside of what’s called 'urban music' "

"My favourite song which I helped to compose, was ‘ Una Aventura’, and the fact that I did the remix with Maluma made the song more special to me," he said.

The Venezuelan artist is currently working on a new single called 'Al Natural' that will be released very soon!
